If your sails are approaching 5 seasons racing or 10 seasons cruising they have probably lost their efficient shape, and will be causing your boat to heel rather than accelerate, and to develop increasing weather helm. You will be amazed at how new sails will improve your boat's performance and your sailing pleasure. Make sure you budget for necessary sail replacement, or the investment in your boat may be devalued

Full overhaul and valeting service. To care for the investment in your sails it is a good idea to have them washed and valeted at the end of each season. Washing sails removes salt and damp and helps to stop mildew forming whilst they are stored over the winter months. We inspect the sails carefully and repair any wear and tear. A stitch in time never was a truer saying!

Along with your sails, take your sprayhood and other canvas work off the boat and have them washed and checked. We can maybe put new windows in your sprayhood, or revitalize it by reproofing.

As soon as you lay up get your sails and canvas in to us for a thorough going over, ready for a new season.
