How to Recycle with Us
Whether you’re an individual, sailing club or sailmaker , here’s how to recycle your sails.
sails we can use
White Dacron Sails, Coloured Dacron Sails
All sails must be relatively clean and free of mildew – heavily soiled or stained sails do not make beautiful recycled products! White sails must be white looking!!
sails we can’T use
Kevlar Sails, Laminated Sails, Windsurf Sails, 3di Moulded Sails
Schools, nurseries, forest schools, scouts or guides are often able to make use of these kinds of sails – please check locally before sending sails to landfill.
