Whitby Yard
Whitby Yard is a coastal clothing company inspired by salty air & breezy sails. Founder Jacquie Fox set up her brand in 2019 to capture the essence of New England’s Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard and evoke the thought of long Summer days, taking in the salty air and watching the yachts with their breezy sails cruising on the waves.
All products in their clothing range are Earth Positive: produced from organic Indian cotton and made in manufacturing facilities powered by green renewable energy, from low impact raw materials – sustainable principles that echo the ethos of Sails and Canvas, so we were delighted to make a dual branded selection of products with Whitby Yard.
The brand’s distinctive whale tail logo, inspired by the sighting of these mammals off the Whitby coast, is one of the images used on our collaborative collection of recycled sailcloth beach bags, wash bags and single bottle bags – all products available to buy at Whitby Yard’s online shop or in stores at Whitby and Saltburn-by-the-Sea (see our stockists).
